Established in 1963, Weir Cook Cadet Squadron is one of Indiana Wing's oldest and most decorated squadrons.
WEIR COOK CADET SQUADRON
The squadron meets on Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vincennes Aviation Technolgy Building.
The Vincennes Aviation Technology building is located at Indianapolis International Airport on Hoffman Road on the northwest side of the airport. Visitors welcome.
CIVIL AIR PATROL
The Civil Air Patrol is the Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. It has a cadet program open to 12 through 17 year olds. Senior membership is open to adults age 18 and over .
The mission of Civil Air Patrol is: Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Youth Leadership.
Our Color Guard has won more competitions than any other unit in the region
As a cadet squadron, the cadet staff focus on learning leadership skills as well as planning and running the meeting and cadet activities.
Emergency Services
Weir Cook Cadet Squadron particpates in emergency services, and cadets train in ground search and rescue teams, communications, disaster relief, and other related areas. Aerospace Education

To get to the Vincennes Aviation Technology building- go west on Washington Street to Girls School Road, Turn south on Girls School (past ATA) to Perimeter Road. Turn right and go to the four-way stop sign. Turn left on Hoffman and follow the road around. The building will be on the left.
